Summer is the ideal time to visit. During winter the place gets heavy snowfall. The place is known for various species of Orchids. To Reach Bomdila you will have to come via Assam. Tezpur is the nearest airport in Assam. Rangapura in Assam is the nearest railway station. If you are travelling by road then take a private vehicle from Tezpur to Bomdila. Indian tourists may need to get an ?Inner Line permit? from the commissioner of Arunachal Pradesh and the foreign tourists need to get a ?restricted ?permission.
