Kudremukh is a small hill town in Indian state of Karnataka. It is situated near the mountain range of the same name Kudremukh. Kudremukh literally means ?Face of the Horse? as a particular part of the mountain resembles face of the horse. The town is situated in Chikmalgur district of the state. Kallahati fall is another amazing fall near Kudremukh. The water falling from a height of 122 m presents tourists a wonderful view. Rajendra hill is famous for iron core and is one of the highest peaks in Karnataka. It is situated at the altitude of 1447 m and it is surrounded by Coffee plantations area. It is very interesting to see iron core being transported by 5km long ropeway. Rock Garden is another place of attraction near Kudremukh. The garden is situated on Kemmangundi Peak and as the name of the garden suggest, it is carved through the rock. The garden houses varieties of flowers and offers amazing views of sun set and surrounding majestic mountains. Z point is another interesting place to be seen here. Apart from these natural sceneries Kudremukh also house a temple of Lord Shiva near Kemmangundi. The temple is beautifully structured and visited by both devotees and tourists.
