Auroville: It is a dream project of the mother (Mirra Alfasa of Aurobindo Ashram). The place is located 8km away from the city of Pondicherry. The township was built with a vision of Universal Township. In the heart of the township there is a meditation hall, known as Maitrimandir.
Sri Aurobindo Ashram: It was founded by Sri Aurobindo for spiritual awakening. The place had links with the Theosophical society of India.
