Sajan is small town in the state of Maharashtra, India. It comes under the Thane district of the state and is just 135 km away from Mumbai. Kohoj Hill Fort is yet another interesting place in Sajan. It is one of the most visited tourist places in the region. The fort was built in Bhoj period. The fort offers visitors a grandeur view and mesmerizes them with its architectural beauty. Mahalaxmi temple and Peshwa temple are religious places of worship to be seen in Sajan. State run buses and other private vehicles connect Sajan to Mumbai, Thane, Pune and many other cities and towns of the state. Thane railway station serves as the nearest railhead to Sajan. The railway station is well connected to Mumbai and many other cities and towns of the country. Chhatrapati Shivaji Airport is the closest airbase to Sajan and is connected to many major cities of India and other countries.
