Saputara is a beautiful hill station in the state of Gujarat, India. It is located in the Dang forest and comes under the Dang district of the state. It offers the tourists fascinating views of sun rise while sunset point in Saputara present majestic views of Dang Forest along with amazing views of sun set. Visit the Step Garden in Saputara. The garden is set up in well organized steps with various plants and flower plots. It is nice picnic spot and is visited by many tourists. Rose garden is yet another beautiful garden in Saputara. It houses many varieties of rose offering a fascinating look to the visitors. Saputara also offers trekking trails to the adventurous tourists. Many state run buses and other private vehicles connect Saputara to Mumbai, Pune, Ahmadabad and many other cities and towns of Gujarat and nearby state of Maharashtra. Waghai railway station serves as the nearest rail head to Saputara. The railway station is about 50 km away from it and is well linked to Mumbai by daily trains. Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport serves as the closest major airbase to Saputara. The airport is about 360 km from it and is connected to major cities of India and other countries.
